National Hellenic Research Foundation

The Foundation has sponsored a research project at the National Hellenic Research Foundation that aims to elucidate a crucial period of Cypriot intellectual and cultural history. The project seeks to publish hitherto inaccessible sources, documentary collections, and texts from the period 1571-1878, and complement this material with introductions, and other critical commentaries. At least 10 volumes are currently planned, of which the following 2 have already been published - ’The Life or Martyrdom of Ignatius of Constantinople’ by N. Rodinos; and ’Cypriot Sources on the Fall of Famagusta’.
