The A. G. Leventis Foundation supports a wide range of projects in Cyprus, Greece and elsewhere. Many of these articulate the Foundation's interest in supporting and disseminating Hellenic cultural heritage. Others encompass the Foundation’s concerns for conservation and the environment, scientific and medical research and a variety of cultural and philanthropic activities.
They range from the reconstruction of a large number of classical, Byzantine, and post-Byzantine monuments, and the enrichment and presentation of Cypriot antiquities collections in museums around the world, to the systematic granting of scholarships, and sponsorship of nature conservation and sustainable development projects in Southern Europe, Africa and world-wide.
Central to the Foundation’s ethos is to direct its resources to support the most constructive proposals put forward by numerous organisations, large and small. We welcome productive partnerships with institutions and other foundations sharing common or overlapping remits.
