Europa Nostra
Europa Nostra sees itself as the voice of Cultural Heritage in Europe. It brings together 240 non-governmental and non-profit organisations (with a combined membership of over 5 million) and is committed to safeguarding Europe’s cultural and natural heritage for present and future generations. The Foundation’s sponsorship dates back to the 1980s and continues with a yearly contribution, enabling an ambitious programme of activities. Deno Leventis, the Foundation’s first Chairman served as treasurer to the organisation from 1985 until his death in 2002.
