The True story of the Trojan War? Homer, Hittites and Troy

The A. G. Leventis Foundation is delighted to support the Greek Archaeological Committee’s second annual lecture in memory of the late Matti Egon “The True story of the Trojan War? Homer, Hittites and Troy” on Tuesday, 5 December at 19.00 at the Hellenic Centre.  Michael Wood, Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester and broadcaster, will delve into a fresh perspective on the Trojan War narrative and the early 13th century BCE conflict that provided the historical basis for the legendary tale.
