The A. G. Leventis Coin Collection was formed by Anastasios G. Leventis in Paris from the early 1960s to 1976 and numbers 605 gold coins and commemorative gold medals. The collection is divided into two main categories: a). ancient, Byzantine and medieval coins and b). modern and contemporary coins and medals dating from the 17th to the 20th century from twenty-five countries from four continents. British coins comprise the greater part of the Collection.
