Sound system upgrade, Parnassos Literary Society, Athens

Parnassos Literary Society, the oldest cultural society in Athens, was founded on 24 June 1865 by the four children of numismatist Pavlos Lambrou to contribute to the cultural, social and moral improvement of the Greek people through multifaceted cultural and social activities. Since then, the Parnassos Literary Society, with its extensive range of social, artistic, educational, musical and children’s events, marks the next step in the Society’s cultural and social agenda, promoting the splendid inheritance bequeathed by its founders and those who followed in their footsteps. The A. G. Leventis Foundation, on the celebration of 150 years since the Society’s inception, comes to support this perennial effort by contributing financially to the full upgrade of the sound system in the main hall in Parnassos’s iconic building, used for ceremonies and events. The new installation includes high-power, high-resolution wide-sound dispersion speakers and a fully digital, wireless sound control mixing desk, fully adapted to modern technological requirements as dictated by contemporary events and their diversity.
