Oxford Philharmonic, Oxford
The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1998 by Marios Papadopoulos and has been the Professional Symphony Orchestra in Residence at the University of Oxford since 2002. The A. G. Leventis Foundation has supported the Orchestra with annual support since 2001 and our trustee Mr H. K. Leventis has been appointed one of the Orchestra’s Life Presidents. The Foundation offers core funding and supports three concerts a year. Since 2003, it has also supported the Orchestra’s University Programme.
